Ahoy Sailor! I'm Leeroy, and I'm a little bit obsessed with cruises.

I love sharing everything about my travels, and wanted to create a space to share some of the tips and tricks I've picked up along the way.

So here you'll find images of the ships I've sailed on, the ports I've visited and the amazing adventures I've had, with many more to come.

I'll also share my experiences with the different cruise lines, cabin types, drinks packages, upgrade options and more.

Quick Cruise Tips

Find your ideal cabin temperature

Find the thermostat and experiment! You'll find your perfect temperature in no time! Keep in mind, if you open your balcony door, the air con in most cabins will switch off automatically to save energy.

Make port days more affordable

Browse the excursions available through your cruise company and see what stands out - you can then take a look at Get Your Guide or Viator and often get the same tour far cheaper.  Cruise line arranged tours will guarantee you are back for sail away though, so keep an eye on the time if you book your own!

Worried you won't get a reservation?

If you've had your eye on a speciality dining restaurant but couldn't find a slot, pop over as soon as you board and you might get lucky! Some lines also have special offers available on board so keep your eyes peeled.

Treat yourself at the onboard spa!

The gym might be the last thing on your mind when you're on holiday, but most cruise ships have extensive gyms and spas that are absolutely worth a visit. Embarkation day is the perfect time to pop over and have a tour. They may even throw in some deals if you're lucky!
